  15.           The _c_a_p_i_t_e_m program reads an /etc/printcap entry for the
  16.           given _p_r_i_n_t_e_r and prints the value of the 2-letter _i_t_e_m on
  17.           its standard output, if the item has a value.  If _c_a_p_i_t_e_m
  18.           cannot find the given _p_r_i_n_t_e_r or _i_t_e_m in the printer's
  19.           entry, it will print an error message on standard error.

  22.           If the _p_r_i_n_t_e_r and its _i_t_e_m are found in /etc/printcap, the
  23.           exit status is 0.  An exit status of 1 indicates that _i_t_e_m
  24.           was not in _p_r_i_n_t_e_r's printcap entry.  If _p_r_i_n_t_e_r is not
  25.           found in /etc/printcap, the exit status is 2.  Any other
  26.           problems will produce an exit status of 3.
